＝ What is food loss? ？ ＝
Food that is normally still edible but is thrown away is called "food loss.
"Leftovers" from meals at home or when eating out are one of the factors contributing to food loss.
In Japan, approximately 5.22 million tons of food loss is generated annually.
If we consider this on a per capita basis, this means that about one bowl of rice is thrown away every day.

Kisarazu City is promoting "organic community development.
In order to create a sustainable future, here are some initiatives we can take to consume our precious food without wasting it and reduce food loss.

＝ 30 ・ 10 （ Sanmaru ・ Ichimaru ） Movement ＝
With the keyword "Mottainai"
"Enjoy food at your seat for 30 minutes after the beginning of a party and 10 minutes before the end. Enjoy the food" is a movement.

Kisarazu City is promoting efforts to reduce food loss with the awareness of
"enjoy and eat up deliciously" as part of its "Organic Town Development" initiative.

・ After the toast is made and before going to the serving table, please take your seats and enjoy the food first for the first 30 minutes.
・ When the party is about to end, return to your seat for the last 10 minutes to enjoy the food.
Eat everything, enjoy the food and conversation, and make the meal a pleasant experience.
