What we do
We mainly offer workshops for elementary to middle school students to experience what programming is about using the Scratch programming language. This is a workshop using the Scratch programming language mainly for elementary to middle school students to experience what programming is all about, even if they are not familiar with PCs or programming.
For those who are new to Scratch, a mentor will accompany them as they try simple programming.
After that, they are encouraged to find what they want to do and program by trial and error. Mentors answer questions and give advice, but do not decide what to do. We let the children work on their own initiative.
Sometimes, children who want to show off their programs make presentations. （ It is not compulsory ）

About PC
Please bring a PC with internet access （ and a mouse ） if necessary. Please make sure you have access to the Scratch website https://scratch.mit.edu in advance so that we can start the day smoothly.


In order to prevent problems, we ask that you be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have been to the event several times and are familiar with the event, or if you need to leave the room temporarily for business, we would like to discuss this with you on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that the event management will not be held liable for any trouble that occurs in the absence of a parent or guardian.
