【華菜枝 - Canae -】
11月29日生まれ A型 沖縄県石垣島 出身
沖縄本島に生まれ、後に移り住んだ石垣島で三線教室に通い、おじぃおばぁの経営するペンションで、民謡や島唄、ポップスを歌いながら育つ。
大学在学中にイギリスへ留学し、現地でも慰問ライブや市民イベントなどで三線片手に歌い、大学から地域貢献賞を受賞する。
帰国後、ストリートライブを経て、ミニアルバム３枚「宝箱」「おくりもの」「会いたいねぇ」自主リリース。
主に東京で活動し、透き通った歌声に多くのファンがいる。
オリジナル楽曲を書き溜めつつ、これからの活動を模索していたある日、そのファンの一人でもある、山下達郎バンドのスーパーベーシスト伊藤広規が、
自身でライブプロデュースしている”ギター☆マンLIVE”のボーカリストとして採用し、今剛gt、渡嘉敷祐一ds、難波弘之pf等との共演。ポップスでのパフォーマンスも 絶賛される。
そのLIVEでの1曲 Happinessや、沖縄の海とポップスのミクスチャーのサウンドをちりばめた、新しい Canaeを伊藤広規がプロデュースする。
2014年11月26日、ウルトラヴァイヴより1st album 「green drops」をリリース。デビュー同時に、ボーカリスト＆ソングライターとしても活躍が期待される。
沖縄もののときは「華菜枝」、ポップスシンガーのときは「Canae」２つの顔を持ち、これまでの沖縄系ステージ/ポップスシーンで活動中。
