Chiba to See, Know and Tell ～ Creative Kyogen ～ Chiba Hagoromo Monogatari
This year's performance, "Chiba no Hagoromo Monogatari" is a story based on the folklore concerning the Chiba clan, which ruled the northern part of present-day Chiba Prefecture from the late Heian Period through the Middle Ages, and a heavenly maiden who wears a robe of feathers.
Why did Chiba become "Chiba"? Please take this opportunity to discover its origin.
